Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my blog ... I am a little late in the game in getting into the blogging world, but better late than never I guess! The name of the blog is "Starting at Plan C" and refers to the fact that it always seems that no matter how hard I try to plan things out in life, somehow Plan A doesn't always work, nor does Plan B or C or D ... so maybe I should just start on Plan C and save some time! It's kind of a family joke that we will ask each other "what plan are we on ... B, C, D ... H???" Life is crazy and hectic but I am blessed to have it filled with wonderful family and friends! I try my best to take life as it comes and go with the flow no matter how hard it may be ... I find my strength in Christ as well as in the support of wonderful family and friends ... if not for these things, I might really have gone crazy by now! I hope you'll enjoy reading about this crazy journey I like to call life (with a side of crazy)! That's me and my family in the photos below ... my husband Brandon, son Brady, and daughter Ellianna. If you are visiting the blog, it's probably because I already know you, but if not, welcome and feel free to visit our website to read more about our last year which was filled with lots of trials ... we are hoping 2011 is a little less tragic than the past 2 years have been but realize that these tragedies are what have made us stronger and closer as a family ... God works in mysterious ways and we are anxiously awaiting to see what he has planned for our lives ... we have already witnessed miracles first-hand throughout these trials and have been blessed to be surrounded by fabulous family and friends ... we are eternally grateful!

For navigation purposes, the home page will host all my blog posts and I have created an Amazon store which will have a section of featured items that I have mentioned in my blog, as well as several other sections of products that I either own currently, have owned in the past, have been given recommendations about an item, or items that I am completely crazy about owning some day!

I Heart Faces Weekly Challenge ... Innocent Wonder

So this week's challenge theme over at I Heart Faces is "Innocent Wonder".  I just love this picture of Ellianna admiring her new baby doll.  She truly loves and cares for her babies as if they are real, she kisses them, talks to them, and wants everyone in the family to do the same.  I love that she is girly and enjoys wearing dresses and playing with her dolls ... I know that one day I will miss these days of innocence.
